The hit-and-run case at Masab Tank that shook Hyderabad has now been reclassified as a murder case. Lawyer Khaja Moinuddin, who was critically injured after being hit by a car, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Following his death, police have registered the incident as a murder case and launched an investigation.  (Video 👇)

What Happened?  

According to police, unidentified assailants rammed a car into Khaja Moinuddin when he stepped out of his house and then fled the scene. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he died during treatment.  

From Hit-and-Run to Murder

The case, initially registered as hit-and-run, was converted to murder after Moinuddin’s death based on CCTV footage and evidence collected locally. Police have begun investigating multiple angles.  

Waqf Dispute Angle

Police suspect the attack may have been carried out in the backdrop of a Waqf land dispute. Five special teams have been formed to track down the accused while examining CCTV footage related to the incident.

హైదరాబాద్‌లో సంచలనం రేపిన మాసబ్‌ట్యాంక్ హిట్ అండ్ రన్ కేసు హత్య కేసుగా మారింది. కారుతో ఢీకొట్టి తీవ్రంగా గాయపరిచిన న్యాయవాది ఖాజా మొయినుద్దీన్ చికిత్స పొందుతూ ప్రైవేట్ ఆస్పత్రిలో మృతి చెందారు. దీంతో పోలీసులు ఈ ఘటనను హత్య కేసుగా నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు.  

ఏం జరిగింది?  

పోలీసుల వివరాల ప్రకారం, న్యాయవాది ఖాజా మొయినుద్దీన్ ఇంటి నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చిన సమయంలో గుర్తు తెలియని దుండగులు కారుతో ఢీకొట్టి అక్కడి నుంచి పరారయ్యారు. తీవ్ర గాయాలపాలైన ఆయనను వెంటనే ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించగా చికిత్స పొందుతూ మృతి చెందారు.  

హిట్ అండ్ రన్ నుంచి హత్యకు 

మొదట హిట్ అండ్ రన్‌గా నమోదు చేసిన కేసును, సీసీ టీవీ ఫుటేజీలతో స్థానికంగా దొరికిన సాక్ష్యాలతో మొయినుద్దీన్ మృతి అనంతరం హత్య కేసుగా మార్చారు. పోలీసులు పలు కోణాల్లో దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు.
