Free Health Card for Journalists, 75% Fee Concession for Children - Press Club's Effort Lauded
Nizamabad: The performance of the Nizamabad Press Club is highly commendable, said M.A. Majeed, State Assistant Secretary of Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation and Member of the District Media Accreditation Committee, in a statement.
He said that providing free health cards at Wellness Hospital for journalists and securing orders from the District Educational Officer (DEO Proc. No. 4178/A3/2014-36, Dt: 22-09-2026) for a 75% fee concession in private schools for the children of journalists for the academic year 2026-2027 is a great achievement of the Press Club.
He appreciated the efforts of Press Club President Pancharaddy Srikanth, Secretary Wagmare Subhash and the entire executive committee, stating that their work is immensely beneficial for the welfare of journalists.
On the same lines, he requested the Press Club to continue its efforts and secure house sites for all eligible journalists in Nizamabad city.
