Nizamabad Youngster Wins Gold at Telangana Inter-School Sports Championship 2026
Hyderabad, Telangana Daily News : A young Taekwondo athlete from Nizamabad has brought laurels by winning a Gold medal at the Telangana Inter-School Sports Championship 2026.
The Championship, Season-II, organized by *Kunchetty Khel Kshetra* with the motto "Rise-Train-Conquer", was held on *25th & 26th August 2026 at Saroornagar Stadium, Hyderabad*. The event was co-sponsored by LIC and featured multiple sports disciplines including Boxing, Chess, Gymnastics, Skating, Swimming, Table Tennis and Taekwondo.
In the Taekwondo category, the young athlete, wearing a green belt, showcased excellent skill and determination to clinch the Gold medal. He is seen posing with his medal in front of the championship banner.
The championship aims to promote grassroots sports talent across Telangana and prepare young athletes for national and international platforms including Commonwealth Games 2030 and Olympics 2036 mission.
