No Official Confirmation Yet

Banswada / Nizamabad:

It is known that 10 days ago, the shocking incident came to light where an agent cheated four youth from the erstwhile Nizamabad district and got them recruited into the Russian Army. Now, the news published in NDTV WORLD that one of the four, Mohammed Afzal Khan (43) from Banswada, has died, is creating a sensation at the national level.

In a voice message sent by fellow victim Sirshu Ashok to his wife from the forests of Russia, he said, _"Afzal Khan died 10 days ago, he died in the war. Out of the 50 people who came with us, 48 have been killed... We both escaped and came... We walked for 10 days... We were caught here... They handcuffed and tied us up"_ — which has left everyone heartbroken.

Of the four victims from the erstwhile district, two went in the first batch with a 50-member army group, while the other two went with another group. (Ashok's Voice Record 👇)

Family of Victim in Anxiety

Afzal Khan's father Abbas Khan, his wife, and brothers are trying in every way to confirm the news of his death.

The family expressed anguish that despite trying through the District SP Office, MP Dharmapuri Arvind, MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, and MBT Spokesperson Amjadullah Khan, no information has been received. The only information they have is what Ashok gave. No official information is available either through the Indian Embassy or through the Russian government.

"Is my son alive? Or not?" — The way father Abbas Khan is crying is making everyone in Banswada emotional. He wants his son to be brought back immediately if he is alive, and if something unfortunate has happened, at least it should be officially confirmed. Family members are worried about what is happening there. Afzal Khan has a wife, a daughter, and a son.
